Ginger tea for dry cough


Ginger tea with lemon is a good idea and is indicated for dry cough due to its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic action.

However to complement this home remedy, you can also drink a glass of water at room temperature with 1 tablespoon of honey as it helps to hydrate the vocal cords, soothing the entire throat region and decreasing coughing.

However, it is important to be able to identify the cause of the cough for treatment to be targeted and effective.

Ginger and lemon tea for coughs has anti-inflammatory property, which helps reduce irritation of the throat and lungs, decongesting the airways and relieving dry cough.

This tea can also be used as a home remedy for children's cough, with no side effects in children.


Recipe
140 g ginger root;
Juice of 3 lemons;
½ liter of water.

Preparation
Boil ginger and water over low heat until the mixture is reduced to half the initial volume.Turn off the heat, strain and add the juice of the lemons.
To sweeten it can be added 1 teaspoon of honey.



You should take 1 tablespoon of this tea every 4 hours for as long as the cough persists.
